Astronomy Department Workshops
The TNI team are working on neuroinclusion workshops to support your astronomy department and your students, faculty, and staff. These workshops vary in time, depth, and cost.
Length
Our workshops are catered to you and can range from a few hours to multiple-day courses depending on your needs and the size of your department.
Curriculum
You will chose a curriculum catered to your needs with topics including: understanding neurodiversity, mentoring neurodivergent students, supporting neurodivergent peers and faculty, and the laws and rights of neurodivergent individuals.
Type
We endeavor to offer workshops virtually, hybrid, and in-person to enable accessibility for your whole apartment.
Cost
Cost will vary depending on the length of program, the size of the department, and the instructor(s) needed. We will endeavor to pair you with an instructor who is proximate to your departments location to reduce cost. We plan on incorporating a sliding scale to our workshops to better support access to departments that may lack funding for development programs such as these.
